Jourdan Dunn and Topshop have enjoyed a blossoming relationship of late.
The British born beauty first modelled for the popular high street brand in their 2008 Autumn/Winter campaign which was titled ‘Topshop on the Move’ and photographed on the Tube and Buses across London. Since then she has featured in five of Topshop Unique’s London fashion shows and has now represented the brand at the British Fashion Awards 2012, where she was nominated for Model of the Year.
The beautiful navy form fitting dress complements her skin tone while her following locks are reminiscent of everyone’s favourite royal, Kate Middleton. This chic dress and Topshop’s trans-Atlantic move to America signals a coming of age for a brand which has been dressing millions of British girls since 1964. Not only has Topshop dressed Miss Dunn, Nicole Scherzinger was spotted wearing a white Topshop gown on the UK XFactor, and Philip Green’s daughter, Chloe has recently unveiled her second accessories collection in Selfridges.
Although Jourdan didn’t win the top model prize (she was beaten by flavour of the month, Cara Delevingne) she was one of the best dressed of the night, a fashion accolade she can be proud of!
Lets hope Topshop recreates this gown for the masses, we’ll all be wearing it soon enough!
