Last night was the launch party for & Other Stories, Regent street conceptual store, an event I’ve been waiting with bated breath for! Alas, as I’m only in London next week for a quick morning session with my mother, (breakfast will hopefully be on the cards) I’m not sure whether I’ll have enough time to check out the flagship, however, that doesn’t mean I can’t waste endless hours on their online store!
Although there were whisperings that this new branch of H&M may delve into the luxury market, the price points are extremely reasonable for the quality of clothing on offer, so the British highstreet now has another amazing store to offer to keen shoppers. The e-commerce site is as beautiful as the tumblr which preceded it, and really makes online shopping a pleasure, and extra dangerous for your bank balance.
Wardrobe basics sit alongside statement pieces which will easily transition through multiple seasons thanks to the classic tailoring, and thats not all, beautiful and delicate lingerie, classic and modern jewellery, statement heels and colourful makeup are all available. I’m not exaggerating when I say I could fill a whole new wardrobe with the debut collection.
And have I mentioned the bags?! As well as stocking their own designs, & Other Stories have collaborated with genius designer, Clare Vivier to stock one of the most covetable collections of handbags I have ever seen. From leather totes, backpacks, iPad cases and bright yellow clutches, they’ve got all corners covered! I will definitely be adding one of these beauties to my birthday wishlist!
There is something for everyone at & Other Stories, so if you’re attempting to save money, do not click here (no but go on, treat yourself, it is International Woman’s Day afterall!) You’ll also be treated to free samples of their makeup range, so you basically have to!
My love affair is only just beginning!
